A brand new HTP RSG-500C spool gun set up to plug right in to a. Miller Bobcat and Bobcat NT welders which have a 110 volt outlet and a CV setting. The wire feed rate is adjustable from 50 to 650 inches/minute. It will feed Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel and Flux Cored wires, and the RSG-500C is made in the USA.
The wire feed rate is easily adjusted without going back to the welder, since we put the wire feed adjustment right in the bottom of the handle. We use a special notched tip for welding aluminum - the tip transfers the welding current to the wire better since there is a slight bend in the notch, forcing the wire to contact the tip.
The notch also makes it much easier to remove a burnback if the wire burns back to the tip. 1 Plug the 110 v plug supplied with your RGS-500C into a 110V outlet on the front of your Bobcat Welder. 2 Connect the gas hose to your regulator. 3 Set the machine to the CV setting. 4 Connect the power cable to correct lug on your Bobcat Welder.
